Rusty on dog care: How much food and water should my new dog get?

I just got this dog and am a little rusty on dog ownership I've been giving her about 2 cups of dry dog food twice a day. Is that enough or too much? should I just leave out a self-dispensing water container? I don't know if I should regulate her water intake. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 3 years and 4 months old | 30 lbs

Hi there and thanks for asking the question about Roni. I would not regulate her water intake. Fresh water available at all times is important. The dog food should have a recommendation on the back of the bag. For spayed dogs I would start on the low end of the recommended amount and then adjust up if she starts losing weight.
