Hello I am worried about Cleo she keeps making these hacking sounds looked up it said it can be canine infectious tracheobronchitis reason why I believe is because she had abscess started last week Thur- Friday got it treated on Monday the vet prescribed clyndamicin each time I give her those she seemed ok until Thursday it seemed like her condition worsened each time I gave her some takes her a while to finally release the throw up but keeps making hacking sounds When she’s up. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 28 days old | 20 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about Cleo. This could definitely indicate kennel cough, however, you should have this confirmed with your veterinarian. Other causes, especially since she has vomited is that she could have developed pneumonia. Please have her evaluated by her veterinarian to confirm she does not have pneumonia.
