Why is my dog suddenly weak, wobbly, stumbling, and unresponsive?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 11 days old | 16 lbs

All of a sudden she is weak, wobbly, stumbling and not as responsive. Seems to startle easier, has fallen over and when standing or sitting kind of bobs around like a chameleon......her grandpa is epileptic. She seems exyremely tired and even goes kind of limp. She usually follow doug everywhere but was under the table. Her tail is down ears back. Usually gives kisses but wont. Walking drunk.

The type of symptoms you are describing should be addressed by a veterinarian. Be sure not to leave out the part you mentioned here concerning a familial epileptic connection. Is it possible that Priscilla may have had a seizure and you are now seeing the after effects of the episode?? Either way, the neurologic symptoms, particularly the speed with which they came on, are very concerning and should be addressed at some point today. Depending on the cause of the problem, it has the ability to get worse quickly. I would not delay on having her seen.
