Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 14 years and 8 months old | 12 lbs
My 15 year old cat has a lot of bumps all over his body. The Veterinarian tested a few cysts and they are benign. They do not ooze as they are more hard. My cat seems a bit more bothered by them lately but shows no signs of any pain. I began feeding him a wet food with a omega oil addictive regularly with hopes his skin would improve. I haven't noticed any changes. I am now going to try changing his dry food to a grain free "healthy" type. There are do many options and I want the best. Ideas?

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is not uncommon for older cats to develop cysts or warts on their skin. If these were checked with Poland's veterinarian and deemed benign, that is a very good thing. However, these are typically age related and are not altered by diet. Sometimes a secondary infection of these cysts can cause some discomfort, so you may want to revisit with your veterinarian if Poland appears more bothered by them lately. It is always a great idea to add in fish oil and get a better diet going especially in older cats. I would recommend Orijen or Canidae- they have great grain free options for senior cats. I hope this helps!
