My cat's paw is swollen and painful, but she's eating. What to do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 6 lbs

this is Coffee. she's a little over a year old and yesterday i noticed her paw was very swollen and it looks like it hurts. she meows if i touch it but she has been eating/drinking normally. im a bit worried about her, what should i do to help?

There is a good chance she could have an abscess. It needs to be opened and drained and then put on antibiotics for the infection. They can also give her some pain medications to help. If it is not an abscess then they may recommend doing an X-ray and make sure she didn’t break something. So I would have her looked at by tour vet. Hope she feels better soon
