Hamster fell: swollen head & eye. Can natural remedies help it heal?

Hello doctor, i have hamster who fell and her head and left cheeck is sowllen. Also her left eye is injured but she ia having food. My vet said its because of blood clout in brain and suggested antibiotic called cefixime oral suspension. I need to know is their anything natural food that cures clout and how many days it will take to cure? Please help. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female | 7 months and 28 days old

Hello, Unfortunately, I do not know of any natural food to heal Hamster. You could apply a cold compress to the swelling. I would advise you to ask your veterinarian about anti-inflammatories or some form of pain medication for Hamster. It will probably take a week or longer to heal depending on severity of damage which cannot be fully assessed without x-rays or CT scan.
