My pet vomited worms. Are they lungworms, heartworms, or tapeworms?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 1 month old

Do lungworms or heartworms show up in vomit? Could these (photo) be some kind of worms? Thanks.

Usually not, even though those in the picture can be tapeworms. A check up could easily confirm this clinical suspicion and treat appropriately.
