My dog is sick after Clindamycin for abscess. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 26 days old | 20 lbs

She has an abscess but it is lowering down took her to the vet Monday prev to my last question they prescribed her Clindamycin for the abscess but she’s been doing fine until yesterday morning 5/24/18 she’s just been looking frail didn’t wag her tail as much except when she seen kids and other family didn’t eat much makes sounds like If she wants to throw up while she is asleep just worried about her.

Hello, sorry to hear about Cleo. Clindamycin is an antibiotic and can cause nausea, vomiting, a decreased appetite, and diarrhea. You can contact your veterinarian to inform them about her reaction and they may be able to give her anti-nausea medications to control her signs. Additionally, make sure you are administering this medication with food to decrease the side effects. Hope this helps and best of luck.
