My Lhasa doesn't like chopped wet food. Is his patchy belly normal?

Hi rolo is 1and half years Lhasa also and when I feed him like dog pate like his wet food he does not like it if I chop it up should I just leave it full and his belly is patchy black and skin colour no other problems just change in colour is this normal. Pet's info: Dog | Lhasa Apso | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 7.4 lbs

If he enjoys eating it without it being cut up first, then give it to him like that! As long as he has some teeth, he should be able to chew and digest the food just fine. Some changes to the skin are a normal part of aging, however if you notice any irritation, redness, itching, hair loss, etc, then having a vet take a look is always best.
