My dog loves his new bed! Is it normal he won't sleep with us now?

My dog is sleeping in his bed more rather than on the settee with us - should I be worried?it is a new bed so maybe he just loves it?! Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | neutered | 20 lbs

Unless he is exhibiting other symptoms, such as lethargy, GI upset, decreased appetite, lameness or abdominal pain, then there is likely no cause for concern. As you stated yourself, it is a new bed and it may be more comfortable than the settee for Woody.
