i have an 8 week old poochon that is coughing. it sounds quite flemmy and she gags just after. she seems fine with feeding etc. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 2 days old | 10 lbs

At her age, it may be a touch of kennel cough or it could be a more serious respiratory infection. The kennel cough typically resolves with or without treatment in about 2 weeks although the cough may linger afterwards. A physical exam would be required to diagnose other infection. If it is a respiratory infection, Lola may need antibiotics which your veterinarian can dispense.
