My dog's paw has a mark and is swollen. Should I be concerned?

It looks like the area around the nail is swollen as well. I am worried that this could be an infection. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon. In the meantime you may want to try soaking the foot in warm water and Epsom salts. Best of luck and I hope Nala improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
