My dog is on antibiotics and constipated. How long can she go without a BM?

My chihuahua is on antibiotics for an intestinal problem and has not had a bm since monday night. I talked to her vet friday he said it will take a bit for her to get back regular, that she should go in a day or two. He said no cause for concern but is she getting backed up? She seems fine otherwise. How long can she go with no bm? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 11 years and 2 months old | 9 lbs

However, if she is eating well, it should not be more than 2-3 days. She may be constipated. You could consider adding about 1 teaspoon of canned pumpkin to her meals which will likely help her go to the bathroom. Good luck and have a great day!
