Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered | 10 lbs
Mau Mau was diagnosed with a UTI, after blood and bacteria was discovered in his urine. His kidneys were also a bit enlarged on an X ray. Bloodwork panel came back normal. He was treated with Convenia, B 12 and fluids. However, now all he is doing is sleep, wail, or eat - he is eating faster than i can give him food. What elsw could be going on?

If Mau Mau was not tested for hyperthyroidism I would recommend having him tested for that as well with this disease a cat’s metabolism is very high so they are constantly hungry. This sounds like what may be going on with your cat. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
