What are these black dots or discoloration around my dog's nipples?

I found black/brown dots on my dogs skin this morning. What could this be? Big circles in the picture are his nipples. I'm curious about the discoloration around it. Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | neutered | 16 years and 11 months old | 27 lbs

They can get small Blake heads and debris in the follicles just like we do. If it does not bother him then pay extra attention to keep it clean. You can wipe it daily with soap and water or clean it with clearsil wipes
