Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 4 months and 9 days old | 80 lbs
About 2 weeks ago I noticed my 4 month old lab had green, runny eye discharge. I took him to the vet and he was on antibiotics for 10 days (gel that you put on the lower eyelid) he’s been off the medicine for about 2-3 days now and I noticed that he still has eye boogers. It’s not runny or green but it clumps up. I’m wondering if I should be concerned and take a trip the vet again?

I would perhaps give it a few more days if the discharge is not green or yellow. Wipe the eyes clean several times daily. If the discharge does become green or yellow, if Oakley starts rubbing his eyes or squinting more than usual, if the whites of his eyes are looking red or if his eyes look cloudy then a trip to the vet is in order. If he develops any respiratory signs (nasal discharge, cough, sneeze, trouble breathing), then an exam is needed. Best of luck to you and Oakley!
