Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 6 days old | 3 lbs
Hello. My kitten is a little over 6 months old and she has very bad diaherra, she has had it for a week or so now. I tried changing the food but it has not improved. I'm going through a financial problem at the moment and I don't have the funds to take her to the vet, but I'm worried about what may be wrong .

I am sorry to hear about Mitsu. I would recommend looking to see if there is a low cost vet clinic in your area. Sometimes the humane society or animal protection league will have lower cost veterinary care. Your kitty needs a fecal exam to check for intestinal parasites. You can look here: http://m.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_veterinary_care.html for more ideason how to afford veterinary care. In the meantime, I would recommend starting a probiotic such as Purina Fortiflora which you can purchase from a vet clinic or online. You can also try a cat dewormer such as pyrantel which many pet stores sell until you are able to have her seen. Best of luck to you and Mitsu!
