My parakeet's eye is red from molting. Is it infected? What diet?

Hello- We have a female parakeet who is molting around one of her eyes. There seems to be redness in that area but her eye seems fine. She is acting normal; no lethargy or loss of appetite. However, I am concerned if that area is infected or will be infected. She is a picky eater, doesn't like fruits or veggies but only her organic seeds. Should I give her vitamins/minerals? If so, can you recommend any brand? Any insight you may have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female | unspayed

Her eye and the area around it does not look bad. Monitor it for redness, swelling, excessive feather loss or excessive scratching. A small amount of seed is fine, but she shouldn't be on an all seed diet. A commercial pelleted diet would provide a balanced diet. Brands include Roudybush, Lafeber, Pretty Bird, Kay Tee Exact and Harrison's. These can be found online or in most pet stores. A mineral block and a cuttlebone should be provided as well.
