Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor D! Dietary indiscretion, eating things they shouldn't, can cause stomach and intestinal pain, vomiting and diarrhea, and pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is painful. If there was a bone with in the steak then yes, that could be why he is experiencing abdominal pain. When dogs experience pain their behavior can be very odd: run around like something bit them, clingy, doing the downward dog or prayer position, act lethargic, shake, pant. The best thing for D, since he is showing signs of pain, is to have him seen today by your Vet before the weekend. They may wan to take belly X-rays to be sure the bone is breaking down and isn't stuck. Otherwise I would fast him for 12 hours then start a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. Feed 1 cup per 20 lbs per day for 3-5 days. If he won't eat or starts vomiting he needs to see a Vet. I hope this helps and I wish D the very best!
