Hi, I noticed that my kitten had a small amount of mucus and blood after number 2 when I wiped her bum, there was no blood in her stool also she eats normal and is still playful, I would just like some advice before taking her to the vet, she has an appointment on Monday at the vet for her second injections, Can I wait till then ?

If she is eating and drinking and playful with no diarrhea, then you can wait until her appointment. If she starts vomiting or having bloody diarrhea, then I would take her right away Blood after a BM can be from the diet due to straining and ruptured a blood vessel. The mucous can be from an infection or a parasite problem. You can try to increase the water intake or add canned food to help minimize the straining. you may need to change brands or ingredients of food to help
