Why are my two female guinea pigs fighting? Can they live together?

Hello, we just recently adopted a guinea pig and she's not getting a long with my older one. Phoebe (the one I've had) is a 3 year old female. Melony (the one we just adopted) is a 1 year old female. No matter what I do isn't working. They are both constantly fighting like ripping each others fur out and attacking each other every time I re introduce them. They are in separate cages next to each other and they talk to each other through the cage all the time. I dont what to do. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 10 months old | 2 lbs

Often guinea pigs do fight and can not cohabitate. It sounds like you already have 2 cages set up, I would plan on the fact that they can leave as neighbors, but probably never in the same cage.
