Is it common for yorkies to sleep a lot and to slightly twitch while sleeping? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 12 days old | 3 lbs

Puppies sleep a lot as they have a lot of growing to do and they get activity bursts which are exhausting. So it is not unusual for a puppy to sleep a lot and as long as it is bright and happy and playful when it is awake, all is well. Twitching while asleep is also normal, as dogs do dream and that often shows by twitching, even barking or squealing while a sleep.
