Can my dog eat trout or tilapia? Is it safe and healthy for them?

Hello . Can I give my dog trout fish or Tilapia???

Yes, you can feed your dog fish. You should cook it, though. Do not feed only fish, as it may cause some metabolic problems and can cause thiamine and vitamin E deficiencies. Fish is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which dogs need to stay healthy. But you can give fish twice a week as part of a commercial dog food diet.

    Yes! In general, fish is is a great treat or supplement for dogs and Sharon will love it! I do recommend cooking it (unless she is already accustomed to all raw food diet). I also recommend that it not be her only food - she'll still need dog food to get all the other nutrients she needs. Hope this helps and best of luck to you and Sharon!
