Does my guinea pig need routine vet visits or vaccinations at all?

i have a guiny pig, do i have to bring him to the vet. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Male

Hello. Other than to make sure your GP is perfectly healthy, has no intestinal parasites, normal dentition, no ear, eye & skin problems, then no you do not have to bring your pig to the vet. There are no vaccinations necessary. But if he has never been seen, I would recommend doing so. Then, the only time you may need to have him seen is if he loses weight, develops diarrhea, develops any sores, lesions or hair loss.
