Why is my dog's pee cloudy and white? Should I be concerned?

This could be normal vulvar discharge, but sometimes mucus and cloudy urine can also be seen with a urinary tract infection. If you continue to see mucus, or if Bailey is straining to urinate, urinating more frequently or having accidents in the house I'd recommend seeing your vet for a urine check.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! What you are seeing is likely mucous. It could be a urinary tract infection of puppy vaginitis. They tend to grow out of puppy vaginitis. Sometimes they need antibiotics if they are urinating small amounts frequently. I would set up an appointment with your Vet for an exam. I would try to collect a urine sample for the appointment. First wipe the vulva with a baby wipe or a slightly soapy towel (rinse) before collecting. I hope this helps!

That is an interesting picture. Is it possible that there was something on the sidewalk prior to her urinating? Was this a one time occurrence? I would recommend taking her into a veterinarian. They may want to collect a sample to see if it is still present. They may also want to collect a sterile sample of urine by doing a cystocentesis ( using a syringe and needle ). Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Wow! I am worried that this is a bladder stone! I would save it and have him seen Monday by your Vet. It also could be discharge from his prepuce. If you are concerned or it keeps happening I would take a fresh sample to the vet and have her examined. At 42 days it is too soon to confirm pregnancy on an X-ray but you can detect heart beats on ultrasound. In 10 days you can take an X-ray. I wish you the best!
