My child has campylobacter. Does my cat need treatment if no symptoms?

a visiting child has campylobacteriosis , his dad said I need to get my cat treated. Is this true? Cat has no symptoms

Campylobacter is a bacteria that can be transmitted from animals to people, but if the cat is not having diarrhea, then there is no need to treat him for it. If he is having diarrhea, then it would be best to have your vet evaluate him sometime soon. I hope that helps and all is well with Ben.
