My old dog is weak, sick, and not eating. Is it time to let her go?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed

Hi my patch (dog) is 13 years old over the last week she is barely eating this is normal for her just before she comes into season. However this has not happened so now I'm very worried. She had a drink this morning but didn't keep it down then was sick yellow bile. She seems quite weak and her breathing is deep and rapid. She also seems to have lost weight. Do you think it's time to let her go? Am I being selfish not wanting to let her go.

I'm sorry to hear that Patch has not been feeling well. I would recommend haing an appointment with her veterinarian to assess her quality of life. This will give you an objective over view of her health. Then, if euthanasia is decided to be the best option for her, you will know you did all you could for her.
