My cat gets diarrhea from chicken, then constipated on Royal Canin. What to do?

hey jenny.thankyou for your suggestion but i would like to ask you one more thing.when i went to the doctor for the first time he suggested me not to give boiled chicken to your cat because it has to much steroids which is not good for your cats health. so i stop giving chicken to my cat.but after one month i again gave my cat chicken then he started motion.so again started giving royal canin. but now with this food he is suffering from constipation also. what would you suggest now

Chicken does not have steroids in it. It is illegal to consume products with hormones due health reasons, so I would not worry about that aspect. However, it is not suitable for a long term only diet. You can mix the 2 to see if it is a happy medium. They make a product called laxatone that can help with constipation. You can also add miralax, 1/8 teaspoon twice a week to the diet to help.
