Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer (duplicate) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 40 lbs
My German short haired pointer all the sudden has to be by my side all the time. He’s literally under my feet wherever I walk around the house. He seems to be panting easy like he is overheated, not sure if that’s related. It just started happening a day ago. We left him with a pet sitter and then took him to the dog park after we got him back from her. I didn’t notice anything unusual and neither did the pet sitter. Do you know what could be going on?

It sounds like he’s stressed from you being away. I would take him for extra walks and play with him to get him more tired. Once he gets back into his regular routine this behavior should subside. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Gunner.
