Why is my dog's clear runny nose frequent even in warm weather?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 3 years and 1 month old | 60 lbs

my 3y Golden Retriever mitx Samoye recently got runny nose quite often, not all the time, before the weather was a bit cold so we think it is normal but now the weather is getting warmer and she still got runny nose, the liquid is quite clear and runny, not too thick. Not every time but getting more often recently.
Is this the thing that we need to be concerned about?
Thanks a lot for your time

Cana is beautiful! I don't think this is anything to be too alarmed about, but I would definitely take her to a vet so they can listen to her chest and examine her. She may have developed an infection in the cold weather which could be causing the runny nose. If she has done this should be easily treatable. It could just be a virus so the vet may advise just to rest her.
