What tick prevention for dog on Advantage Multi, allergic to Seresto?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 10 months old | 48 lbs

I use Advantage Multi for heartworm prevention for my 3-year-old pointer mix. What tick preventive can I use. She is allergic to the Seresto collar.

Great question! There are so many products it can be hard to navigate. If you are already using advantage multi for fleas and heart worm prevention there are several options you could add in for tick control. If you like collars you could try the Preventic collar (different ingredients than seresto). https://m.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=1254 Alternatively you could discuss using one of the oral flea and tick preventatives (nexgard or simparica) staggered 2 weeks from the advantage multi. https://m.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=9547+29385+28648&pcatid=28648
