How can I stop my dog from refusing his food for human food?

My dog goes into this cycle of refusing to eat dog food each time he comes in contact with human food. He will make himself sick in an attempt to get what we eat, tried changing his food but that doesn’t last. I don’t want his diet to consist of our food, he already has dominance issues as he is very spoilt and thinks he’s the boss of everyone. How can I stop this behaviour? The food he has consumed isn’t poisonous it’s just an attempt to be fed what we eat, I do not feed him it other people do. He is testing his dominance and holding out for something better since he has now learned it will come You will have to get everyone to stop feeding him people food to start. It is best to mix a small amount of chicken or canned food or chicken broth in with his dry food to encourage him to go back to that. Once he realizes there is no human food coming then and he is on a schedule , then you can gradually decrease the amount of canned food or broth until he is completely on dry food again
