Puppy bit his mouth, now swollen with pus. Can I treat it at home?

Me and my puppy where playing with his rope and he bit the inside of his mouth and now it's swelled really bad I tried looking and it had puss I tried to put ice on it at first and now it's just getting bigger I don't know what to do I don't have any money for a vet

Poor Akuma! His mouth definitely does look swollen. If you're seeing pus in his mouth, this is a sign of infection - he may have fractured a tooth which is now infected. If this is the case, I'm afraid there's really no way around taking him to see a vet - he will need to be sedated to have his mouth examined and the fractured tooth extracted, and he will also need antibiotics and pain medication to treat the infection and help make him more comfortable. If cost is a concern, you can see if there is a low-cost SPCA clinic in your area that could help.
