I just had a cockatiel.... I am worried about him. Can he live long and happy in India? We always keep him open in our room

Hi and thank you for your question, There is no reason why he shouldn't have a long life in India as long as you provide him with the correct husbandry. There are many websites that have care sheets about cockatiels. I recommend that you read about it and try to give him the best possible living conditions. Regards
