My dog faints after exercise, has black poop & vomits. What's wrong?

My dog has fainting fits but doesn’t lose consciousness.. Our vet wasn’t overly worried. She now has black poo. Today after exercise she fainted again then vomited. The fainting only happens during exercise. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed

Poor Georgie, This sounds quite distressing for you all. I would recommend having her evaluated again by your veterinarian. Episodes of collapse, especially associated with exercise could indicate any number of issues. Black poop can indicate internal bleeding, which should also be investigated. Your vet may recommend some diagnostics such as a fecal exam, bloodwork and X-rays or an ultrasound to try and determine what is going on.
