Why is my unfixed male cat biting kitten's neck? Mating? How to stop?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 6 lbs

my male cat is bitting my 2 months old kitten from her neck and follows her everywhere is he trying to mate? and how to stop him from doing that? he's not fixed

Hello, and thank you for your question. It is definitely possible that your male is trying to mate with your female. While unlikely, it is possible for your female to get pregnant at an early age (though typically not until 5 months or older), so I would recommend separating them until you can get them both fixed, at least so your female is not being constantly harassed by your male.
