My mini pig has fleas. Is it safe to use dog or cat flea drops?

My wife and I bought a mini-pig a while back. He is now 7 months old. He is getting fleas. I know that the fleas don't bother him, but they jump off on us. I thought about a flea collar, but I think that it wouldn't stay on and knowing him, he would eat it. I forget what it's called, but can we put the drop in the back of his neck to prevent fleas, like you would in a cat or dog? Or would that harm him?

Frontline, Advantage, and Advantix for dogs are safe for pigs if you follow the weigh dosing. You can get them at your vet's clinic, and I would ask the staff for help with getting the correct dose for Sampson.
