My mini pig has fleas. Is it safe to use dog or cat flea drops?

My wife and I bought a mini-pig a while back. He is now 7 months old. He is getting fleas. I know that the fleas don't bother him, but they jump off on us. I thought about a flea collar, but I think that it wouldn't stay on and knowing him, he would eat it. I forget what it's called, but can we put the drop in the back of his neck to prevent fleas, like you would in a cat or dog? Or would that harm him? Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Male | neutered | 6 months and 11 days old | 45 lbs

Frontline, Advantage, and Advantix for dogs are safe for pigs if you follow the weigh dosing. You can get them at your vet's clinic, and I would ask the staff for help with getting the correct dose for Sampson.
