Dog's toe swollen, bleeding, and painful. When should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 23 lbs

My dogs toe is twise the size as normal and it bleeding and pudding from the inner side she was limping and it hurts her to push or touch it

I would have Blue seen by the vet immediately. She could have injured her toe breaking it, leading to the bleeding and swelling. The vet can do x-rays to determine if her toe is broken, and treat her as necessary.

    I would recommend that you take your dog to the vet as soon as possible. From the picture, the swelling around the toe could be caused by infection, a broken toe, or even cancer. It looks very painful! Until he gets to the vet, try to limit his activity to minimize pain, and prevent licking. Licking will spread bacteria and decrease healing.
