Is a hard lump on my senior dog's tricep dangerous? What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | 11 years and 11 months old

Recently I notice little hard mass from inside not swelling but it's hard if I keep my hand from front on Caesar on his tricep beach M so what is is it something dangerous ? I took him to vet and he put injection on that to see if any fluid or blood comes out but nothing come out so what is it exactly any idea ?

Unfortunately in a senior dog like Caesar, there is always a chance this mass could be a malignant tumor. I would take him back into the vet to see if they can get a biopsy of the mass. A biopsy would help identify if the mass is malignant, and the vet can discuss treatment options for it.
