Is it normal for my dog to have eye crust and goop in the morning?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 60 lbs

My dog gets small crustiness and goopies in the corners of his eyes. is this normal? It's usually in the morning I find them.

Yes, it can be normal to get these crusts and goodies in the corner of the eyes, and if you are only finding them in the morning, it's not something I would be concerned about at the moment. Should Chewy's eye start to have a lot of discharge throughout the day, then I would be concerned and I would have him seen by a vet right away for it.
