A female gsd is on heat so my dog is ready to mate her and it is right age for mating a gsd. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year old | 70 lbs

That's because large breed dogs can take up to 15 months to be sexually mature, and at two years of age, the dog will be fully mature both physically and emotionally.
