Why is my dog pacing and stretching his neck after dental surgery?

Hi my dog is pacing, will sit down for a short moment under the bed and then will get up and move again. Earlier it seemed like he was stretching his neck out a bit, more towards the side. I should also say that a week ago he was in surgery for a dental operation and all went well.

It could be that your dog has an upset stomach, and that is causing him to stretch out his neck. It could also be due to pain. I would monitor him for now if his only signs are the stretching of his neck and pacing. Should these symptoms be present in the morning, I would have him seen by a vet to diagnose what is causing them. If he starts vomiting, has unproductive vomiting, or appears in distress, I would have him seen by a vet immediately.
