My dog ate poop & plants, vomited, ate grass. Did prednisone help?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 5 months old

Is it possible that when panda ate large amounts of ponga fern and chicken poop it caused him to vomit and has caused him to still have thickened ropey intestines which made him eat large amount of grass because now he has started a course of prednisone his tummy is better and he isnt eating any grass and he is bright and happy again.

I'm glad to hear that Panda is doing better! It could be that the things he ate caused inflammation of his intestines and vomiting, and also made his nauseous leading him to eat grass. I would continue to give him the prednisone as prescribed, and contact your vet with any questions and concerns. I hope he continues to improve :-)
