There are a lot of horror stories about the Nobivac L4 vaccine. My two dobermanns have had this vaccine 3 years running as we live on a farm. They have had no adverse reactions. Is it safe to assume that they will be ok with it this year as well?

We are seeing an increase in incidences of pain at the injection site and some localized swelling. Mostly this is seen in smaller to medium sized breeds and it is usually treated with anti-inflammatory medications through your vet. However I would probably air on the side of caution and just recommend oral Benadryl before and up to 2 days after vaccines are given to combat any such problems with your fur babies. Best wishes!
