Why won't my cat eat or drink? He can't open his mouth or blink.

My cat won't eat or drink. He like goes down to his bowl but almost looks as though he can't open his mouth. He can't blink and we've taking him to he vet and they don't know whats wrong with him. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 11 lbs

Poor Porter! From your description, I would be concerned that he may have severe dental disease, or a neurologic problem of some kind affecting his mouth. If your vet doesn't know what's wrong and doesn't have any suggestions for what to do in terms of testing or possible treatment, I would recommend seeking a second opinion from another local vet, or requesting referral to a specialist for further work-up.
