Is it safe to medicate my asthmatic cat for a 10-hour car trip?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 9 months and 3 days old | 11.7 lbs

On a 10 hrs trip in our car, Is it a good idea to give him any kind of medicine to keep him calm? He has asthma by the way and he gets very stressed

A 10 hour trip might be very long for your cat, especially if he does not like riding in the car. Your vet could prescribe a medication to help keep him calm during the trip. I don't recommend giving him any medicines unless your vet recommends it, especially since he has asthma. You could also use some Feliway spray to help alleviate stress and anxiety. http://www.feliway.com/us/#redirected
