Why is my cat in pain after urinating? Vets found no cause.

Question

my cat growls anf crys after urinating took to a vet check his urine no infection and crystal levels where fine. They sent him anti inflamtori. After 3 days still doing it they did an x ray and shows no obstructions. They have us steroid and a relaxer. Feel that this will not work or will it?

Poor kitty! Hopefully, this will work. He could be suffering from urethral spasms that are causing his problems with urinating, and a relaxer should help with that. Without seeing him in person, I can't say this for certain, but I have fingers crossed it will help him :-)
