My Dog has been vomiting, losing weight and his fur looks dull. Otherwise he's acting perfectly normal. Stools are normal as well... Any ideas? Thank you so much

Poor Shaggy! This vomiting, weight loss, and dull fur could be due to a heavy burden of intestinal worms. It could also be caused by a medical illness such as inflammatory bowel disease, chronic GI illness, or a foreign body among others. I would take him into the vet for a physical exam, blood tests, fecal exam (bring along a sample of his feces), urinalysis, and possibly x-rays. Using these tests, the vet can diagnose what is causing Shaggy's symptoms so he can be treated.

I'm sorry that Shaggy is unwell. There are many reasons for a dog to vomit even, with normal bowel movements. There could be GI disease still present with normal stools. I would also be concerned about kidney or liver disease due to the weight loss. I highly recommend that you have Shaggy evaluated by your veterinarian. Shaggy may need an X-ray of the GI tract as well as blood work.

This doesn’t sound like intestinal worms. I would have Spike evaluated by a vet. Possible causes include internal medical illness, GI foreign body or obstruction, pancreatitis, HGE, among others. The vet will do an exam and may recommend blood work and x-rays. The weight loss is likely due to moderate or severe dehydration, so Soike may need IV fluids in addition to other medications.
