My cat used gingivitis remedy. Is belladonna causing side effects?

i purchased and sprayed Merrill's gums four times already in a week and a half with' Homeo' (the company) gingivitis remedy and finally i see the ingredients are belladonna, mercurius solubilis,carbo veg and krebsatum. i remember belladonna can cause eyesight damage. sure this amount is slight; Merrill is asleep more and won't exercis. , her eyes appear droopier. her gingivitis is gone. maybe i should discontinue using this medicine completely, or only every few months? what do you think

I would discontinue this medicine completely . It's not label specifically for cats, and therefore may not be safe to use on her. While Merrill's current symptoms could be caused by a medical illness such as systemic illness, there is a possibility there this homeopathic medication could be causing them as well. It would be better for Merrill's health if you brushed her teeth yourself using a toothpaste specifically designed for cats and a toothbrush. You can get those at a pet store.
