Is ETOZOX an anti-inflammatory and effective for dog hip dysplasia?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old

Vet prescribed ETOZOX 90 mg for his limping and pain in back right hind leg so is this ETOZOX 90mg is an ANTI-INFLAMMATORY medicine and is this a safe to give ? And is it true my vet told me if he is having hip dysplasia then these pain relievers will not work is that true ?

Yes, it is a non steroidal anti inflammatory (NSAID). This class of medication is commonly used to treat the discomfort of hip dysplasia and other joint conditions. Depending on the degree of dysplasia or discomfort, Bruno may need additional treatments or supplements. This would be a concern to discuss further with your veterinarian.
